works just like expected, better build quality that the older version
hi all, i found out the hard way that plugging in two d-taps on the side is not possible, at least in my set up, i had to plug in a d-tap extender (1 to 4 ) to power up all of my gear, i do not have the lemo or fisher dc out cables nor my gear, so having them is basically useless. maybe mutiny should include angled lemo outs to custom make cables to the various gear power ins or a reversible d-tap out like in the previous anton bauwer model, now the pcb is harf soldered to the dc outs...
Bought as a gift for a friend with an OG Komodo 6K. To say he was (and still is) over the moon about it is an understatement. Incredibly convenient plate with more mounting positions than he or I will ever need, so it’s great when I’m his 1st AC. Very solid reliable product 10/10
Small yet so convenient. Must buy for your Komodo or Raptor!
Absolutely perfect!
I love it! I posted a pic today on Instagram and tagged you. Looking forward to more products! Have a great weekend.
The KX side IO plate is the most under rated cage plate and IO expander for the Komodo X.
A great example of ingenuity and problem solving.
Nothing else like it from the competition.
X/BLOCK for KOMODO X
I needed some mounting points on my Komodo X but wanted to keep my GDU handles. These plates let me use those handles and moved them slightly out and back which helps clear mounts with filters. Plus they just look cool!
I chose to customize my SDI cable for the Blackmagic Video Assist. The cable exudes quality and durability!
I had to send in my OG Komodo Battery IO in for repair due to it getting damaged on set. The cost of repair was very fair and the turn around was incredibly fast. This is one of many reasons I love purchasing Mutiny gear. They back up what they make.
Fantastic craftsmanship, as always. allows me to work without a breakout box on the V-Raptor for solo operating and slimming the rig. XLR connection is very strong. If I could improve it, I'd have an adjustable keyway on the 5-pin side and/or an old-school curly cord for added flexibility when moving between locations with the camera rigged up.
Indeed it is
Totally awesome unit very versatile definitely what I needed.
