The MUTINY POWER + IO for Freefly Ember is a power distribution and IO box designed to address the needs of filmmakers using this amazing camera.  POWER + IO is CNC machined and hand assembled in New Hampshire. 

POWER + IO comes in standard or for use with the SSD expander (includes longer cables). Note both are the same, one just has longer cables to accommodate the SSD expander module option. 

POWER + IO features 

1x 6pin 1B DC input jack (uses same DC cable as DSMC2/ V-RAPTOR/Komodo X) 11-17 volts (do not use higher than 17v)

2x D-Tap power output connectors,

2x 2pin 0B power outputs,

1x Fischer 3 power + R/S 3pin port (pin 1 ground, pin 2 +, pin 3 R/S)

1x 6pin GPIO 

1x 4pin 00b CTRL (RX/TX port for future expansion)

Includes: 

1x 2pin 0B to MOLEX 4 power cable

1x 6pin 0B GPIO cable 

Choice of Core V-mount or Gold mount battery plate (modified by us).

The Power Distribution solution the camera needed.

I love the fact that this power supply allows for redundant power (Battery + PSU) and that it provides a powered R/S. Prior to this, I had to power off when switching batteries and I had to run my remote focus with a R/S cable + Power cable. This IO unit makes it much more set friendly and professional.
I had power cables and power supplies from my Red DSMC2 camera and love the fact that I can continue using them with the Freefly Ember. Very satisfied with the product and quality of components. A worthy upgrade.
